They say a dog is man’s best friend. But do not forget about a cat who many feline lovers would argue they are a man’s best friend. Regardless, a pet is part of the family. And when a family travels and there is no convenient way to watch for those other members of your family, you may want to take your fur kids along with you on your trip. That also holds true when you want to visit a winery. But what wineries are pet-friendly and will accept you and the rest of your family?
Usually, dogs are seen at wineries including the “typical” winery dog, so even though there are different pets, pet friendly usually means dog friendly. Some wineries are dog-friendly outside only, although some allow dogs inside. Water bowls are also available at some wineries.
Remember though to check with the winery first to make sure of their conditions and always keep your pets on a leash!
