Pour Favor is taking a different approach to how and when people enjoy wine.
The women-founded, women-owned, Texas-based brand was created around a simple idea: wine should fit the way people live today. That might mean a sunset picnic, an impromptu gathering with friends, or simply enjoying a glass at the end of the day.
Pour Favor packages its wines in premium 187 mL single-serve bottles, giving wine drinkers an option when opening a full 750 mL bottle does not make sense. The concept grew from years of experience producing small-format wines and observing changing consumer preferences.
Founder Abby Ramos, who also founded Small Lot Bottles, and Head of Sales and Brand Partner Candice Wagner bring more than 30 years of combined wine-industry experience to Pour Favor. The wines are crafted in partnership with California winemaker Alex Farber.
Before launching the brand, the Pour Favor team surveyed nearly 1,000 Gen Z and Millennial wine drinkers. Their research pointed toward demand for wines that combine quality, variety, convenience, and approachable packaging.
For Pour Favor, though, the package is only part of the story. The brand’s message centers on the people and occasions surrounding the wine, summed up in one question: “Who are you pouring into next?”
