Messina Hof Winery will host its 42nd annual Wine & Roses Festival from Friday, April 24th to Saturday, April 25^th, 2026. This annual event invites locals and tourists to experience Messina Hof’s award-winning wines while enjoying live music, delightful food pairings, exclusive wine tastings, and local vendors, all while exploring the Estate Winery grounds in Bryan, Texas. Whether you’re visiting for the wine or a spring getaway, the weekend offers a full lineup of experiences.

Friday, April 24^th

Spring Wine Release Dinner: Mediterranean Moments

Experience an elegant evening of dining, exquisite wines, and engaging conversation, all in support of the Arts Center of Brazos Valley. The evening begins with a silent auction featuring artwork, unique experiences, and handmade pieces generously donated by the community to benefit local art programs and young artists. Guests will then enjoy Messina Hof’s thoughtfully curated Vineyard Cuisine™ menu, with each course perfectly paired with award-winning Texas wines for a seamless and memorable experience. For this spring-inspired evening, guests are invited to embrace an effortlessly elegant, sun-washed, coastal chic dress code.

Opposites Attract Food & Wine Pairing Class

• Discover how contrast creates harmony in a food and wine pairing class led by Chief Administrative Officer and Co-Owner Karen Bonarrigo. The experience explores unexpected combinations that come together with surprising balance in every sip and bite.
  • This experience is only available in the Foodie & Ultimate Packages.

Founding Father’s Favorites Wine Experience

• Experience the wines that shaped early America. Led by winemaker Paul M. Bonarrigo, this tasting connects historical tradition with contemporary flavors.
  • This experience is only available in the Ultimate Package.

Winemaker’s Tour & Tasting

• Led by owner and winemaker Paul M. Bonarrigo, enjoy a guided tour through wine history, taste directly from the barrel, and savor a sample of rich Port.
  • Available as an add-on to any ticket package.

Barrels & BBQ Food & Wine Pairing Class

• The perfect Southern pairing! Texas BBQ meets Texas wine in this self-guided food and wine pairing class. Move at your own pace, savor each bite, and enjoy the experience on your schedule.
  • This experience is included with the Foodie & Ultimate Packages but can be added onto a Tasting Package.

Grape Stomp Competition

• Compete in the Grape Stomp Competition, and see if your team can become the reigning champs! Channel your inner winemaker and enter your team of 2-4 people to take part in this crowd-pleasing tradition.

Vendor Fair

• Browse local vendors and artisans showcasing their artistic creations all weekend and sip, shop, and support local. Those interested in being a vendor can fill out an application HERE.
