From January 26 through February 27, 2026, the Texas Hill Country Wineries’ (THCW’s) Wine Lovers Celebration invites you to explore more than 55 participating Texas Hill Country wineries during one of the most romantic times of the year. Whether you are planning a Valentine’s Day outing, a weekend escape, or a casual wine adventure with friends, this month-long event is the perfect excuse to slow down and enjoy Texas wine country.
The Digital Wine Lovers Celebration Passport works like a coupon book in your pocket. Each passport includes a complimentary tasting at every participating winery, along with a 10 percent discount when you purchase three or more bottles. With tastings typically costing around $15 per person, the value adds up quickly. Visit just five wineries and you will more than cover the cost of the passport, which is priced at $100 per couple or $65 for an individual.
With 26 days to explore, there is no need to rush. Passport holders can visit up to four wineries per day, allowing plenty of time to savor the wines, enjoy the scenery, and plan return trips to favorites. Your digital barcode is emailed after purchase and scanned at each winery, making the experience easy and seamless. Reservations may be required at some locations, so a little planning goes a long way. All reservation info is noted in the participating wineries list on THCW’s website.
Beyond the wine, this event supports the future of Texas wine. Five dollars from every ticket sold benefits the Texas Hill Country Wine Industry Scholarship Fund, which has awarded more than $55,000 to students pursuing degrees in viticulture, enology, and hospitality. It is a feel-good way to discover new wineries, enjoy great savings, and support the next generation of Texas wine professionals.
Users of the Digital Passport can use the Texas Wine Lover mobile app to see the wineries participating in the special trip located on the Trips menu. Plan your different visits to the wineries by using the feature Plan Your Trip on the Texas Wine Lover website or in the mobile app. Just select Trips from the menu and then the Wine Lovers Celebration Trip.
