Messina Hof Winery will host its 41st annual Wine & Roses Festival from Friday, April 25th to Saturday, April 26th. The annual event invites locals and tourists to experience the winery’s award-winning products while enjoying live music, delightful food pairings, exclusive wine tastings, and local vendors, all while exploring the Estate Winery grounds in Bryan, Texas. Whether you’re a wine enthusiast or simply looking for a fun weekend getaway, there are plenty of options for those visiting the winery this spring.
Friday, April 25th
- Spring Wine Release Dinner
- Experience an evening of dining, exquisite wines, and artful conversation, all in support of the Arts Center of Brazos Valley. The Spring Release Dinner will kick off with a silent auction, including artwork, experiences, and handmade pieces, all generously donated by the community to help further the mission of the Arts Center of Brazos Valley. Followed is a food and wine pairing with Messina Hof’s thoughtfully curated Vineyard Cuisine™ menu. Each guest will enjoy a selection of award-winning Messina Hof wines poured to match each course, ensuring a seamless pairing experience.

- Every bid placed will contribute directly to supporting local art programs and young artists in the Brazos Valley

Saturday, April 26th
- Grape Stomp Competition
- Bring your team to battle in the famous Wine & Roses Grape Stomp Competition! Channel your inner winemaker and enter your team of 2-4 people who take part in this crowd-pleasing tradition from 1-3 p.m. Tickets are $50. Grape stomp registration is per team. Only one ticket is required per team
- Crafting Charcuterie with Karen
- Experience the world of food and wine with Chief Administrative Officer and Co-Owner Karen Bonarrigo. Guests will get hands-on experience in this class while learning tips and tricks to build beautiful and brimming charcuterie boards.
- This experience is only available in the Foodie or Ultimate Package
- Rosé Rendezvous
- Winemaker and owner, Paul M. Bonarrigo, invites wine lovers to a guided tasting and experience on how rosé is made. Take part in an aroma lab to see common flavors and tasting notes found in rosé blends.
- This experience is only available in the Ultimate Package.
- Barrels & BBQ
- Nothing like Texas barbeque paired with wine! Robust reds, smoked meat, and tangy sauces create a tasty trio. Dine in the Vintage House Restaurant for a brimming barbecue buffet with wine pairings selected by the winemaker himself.
- This experience is included with the Foodie and Ultimate Packages but can be added to a Tasting Package.
- Wine Cocktail Workshop
- Guests are invited to learn how to make three unique wine cocktails, sip and savor each one, and try your hand at your own concoction.
- This workshop can be added to any ticket package.
- Vendor Fair
- Browse local vendors and artisans showcasing their artistic creations all weekend and sip, shop, and support local. Those interested in being a vendor can fill out an application HERE.
