Rootstock has always been a premier wine festival in Texas featuring Texas wines. The 2025 version of Rootstock will be held on Sunday, April 6th, at the Earle-Harrison House & Pape Gardens in Waco, Texas from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The 2024 Rootstock Wine Festival was also held at the Earle-Harrison House & Pape Gardens and featured the theme of sparkling wines where each of the participating wineries poured one or more of their best sparkling wines.
The 2025 Rootstock will feature the new theme of Spain. With the theme of Spain, this means every participating winery will be pouring Texas-grown wines made from some of the following Spanish (and Portuguese) grape varieties:
- Tempranillo
- Mourvèdre (Monastrell / Mataro)
- Garnacha
- Carignan (Cariñena)
- Graciano
- Mencia
- Touriga Nacional
- Albariño
- Verdejo
- Moscatel
- Port-style wines
Each ticket includes:
- Entry
- Wine Glass
- Fifteen wine tastings
- A plate of authentic Spanish Paella
- Live Spanish guitar show
- Flamenco dance lessons
