BeeMaRosa Vineyard & Winery is located in Belton, Texas, and is conveniently looked right off I-35. The winery opened on March 1, 2023.
I visited the winery and met tasting room manager Chris Joyce who also led my tasting. First, I had to inquire about the name BeeMaRosa. That’s when I learned the owners were Sharon and Madhava “Reddy” Beeram. So, the “Bee” comes from the beginning of their last name. The “Ma” comes from the beginning of his first name, and he goes by Reddy. And the “Rosa” is Sharon’s middle name.
Chris explained that the Beerams bought the property in 2014 and initially turned it into an office space. There were muscadine vines growing next to the building and that gave them the inspiration that they needed to plant a vineyard. The vineyard was planted in April 2021 when close to 1200 vines arrived to be planted. They planted Tempranillo, Petite Sirah, and Tannat and in 2022, planted Cabernet Sauvignon, for the two-acre vineyard. The vineyard is located directly behind the winery’s tasting room making a nice view from the rear patio.

Since the winery was new, they needed to find wines, so they had different local winemakers make their wines. It was pointed out that the Cabernet Sauvignon was grown with well water and no city water.
Tastings are done by selecting five wines from the tasting menu. These are the white and rosé wines that were available at the time of my visit:
- 2022 Pinot Grigio – Mendoza, Argentina
- 2021 Rosé of Cinsault, Grenache, Syrah – Provence, France
- NV Viognier (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
- 2021 Sauvignon Blanc – Marlborough, New Zealand
- 2020 Riesling – Pfalz, Germany (light sweet)
- Sweet Mona Peach Moscato (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
- Semi-Sweet Rosé (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
These are the red wines that were available:
- 2022 Pinot Noir Reserva Especial – Central Valley, Chile
- 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon (BeeMaRosa) – Bell County, Texas
- 2021 Tannat (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
- 2021 Tempranillo (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
- 2021 Petite Sirah (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
- Sweet Winnie Cab/Muscat Sweet Red (BeeMaRosa) – Texas
- Chocolate Red – Walla Walla Washington (semi-sweet)
There are also some other non-Texas wines that are only available by the bottle. There is a very nice food menu available with different paninis and a charcuterie board, so come hungry.

This is a great feature on Beemarosa Vineyard! Lately we’ve been working on some renovation projects in our home. It’s been a lot of work to coordinate the workers, dumpster rentals, and everything else. So it sounds super fun to get away and explore the beautiful vineyard! Thanks for sharing this.

This is a beautiful descriptive abstract of the history and vision of BeeMaRosa Vineyard and Winery. As we approach our third-year anniversary we have many more of our wines including sweet and dry red blends. Last year was a great harvest and we were blessed with almost 10 tons of grapes. We had to be creative to utilized some of the grapes and made wine grape jellies from all 4 variety of grapes. It is amazing to taste the intricate flavor from each variety.
We have branched out to rent the property for weddings, promotions, parties and other celebrations. We host many activities such as music bingo, various crafts projects and dinners.
