Bingham Family Vineyards has recently expanded their number of tasting rooms by opening a new location in Roanoke, which is north of Fort Worth, in January 2024. In a recent trip to North Texas, I stopped by the new location.
I had never visited Roanoke before, but from what I saw, the Binghams have picked a nice location. The tasting room in Downtown Roanoke on Oak Street also houses restaurants, a brewery, lodging, and more. The street reminded me of Main Street in Grapevine where most of the wineries are located including another Bingham tasting room.

Upon entering the tasting room, you are immediately in a large room with the L-shaped tasting bar extending almost the full length of the right wall and forward wall. The tasting room has multiple four-person tables in it. The doors to the left lead out to the very large and nice outdoor patio.

Since I had previously been to the Hye location just a couple of months prior and did a full tasting, I chose to enjoy a glass of Bingham Family Vineyards wine instead.
While enjoying my glass of wine, I asked what made the Roanoke tasting room different than the other three Bingham locations. I was told for one that it is much bigger than the Grapevine location and I can attest to that. Since it is larger, that means they can have larger parties both inside and out with the outdoor patio. The city of Roanoke allows consumers to openly consume alcoholic beverages in public areas, so the tasting room can also sell glasses of wine to go.

Bingham Family Vineyards also now grows certified organic hemp which is used in CBD products such as lotion and shampoo. Those products can be bought at the Roanoke location.
If you’re in North Texas and near Roanoke, make plans to visit the Bingham Family Vineyards tasting room.
