There are a lot of features on the Texas Wine Lover (TWL) website, and we started writing about them so you can learn about them and be able to use the many resources available. We’re moving across the website’s menu with a blog post about each menu item, so let’s dive deeper into the Drink/Nightlife menu.
The main focus of the website Guide and mobile app is the listing of Texas wineries and their wines. But if you travel too far from home to visit wineries and will be staying overnight somewhere, most wineries close in the early evening. Then what are you doing for the rest of the evening and night? Depending on how many wines you drank that day, instead of sitting in a hotel room, many people want to get out and have a cocktail or find a bar serving Texas wines. That is when the Drink/Nightlife menu comes to help you.
The Search Drink/Nightlife menu item on the Texas Wine Lover website will show you the list of different businesses that offer drinks and other forms of nightlife near wineries. The menu item is shortened to just Drink in the Texas Wine Lover mobile app.
You can also use the filter on the right side of the results to search for a specific category such as bars or wine bars, and even karaoke for you aspiring singers.
There is a filter that can be used to show those establishments that sell Texas wine. The Drink/Nightlife menu has a second menu item called Drink/Nightlife – Texas Wines Sold which is the same list of establishments that sell Texas wines when using the category filters.
Since we are called Texas Wine Lover, there is also a menu item to let you search for Wine Bars. This returns the same results when you use the right-hand category filters.
A listing for a Drink/Nightlife listing is similar to the other business listings in the website Guide. Depending on the membership, a Drink/Nightlife establishment can list various things including the days and hours they are open. A form is also available where customers can request additional information from a business.
We hope this has helped you understand the Drink/Nightlife menu. If you know of a business that should be listed in the Drink/Nightlife category, please encourage them to add their listing. Please look at all the Drink/Nightlife listings and support those businesses!
