It was announced today that Kiepersol has won “Top Texas Winery” for the year at the 2024 Houston Rodeo Uncorked! International Wine Competition. Kiepersol is immensely honored and thankful to be part of a vibrant wine industry. Texas wines are growing in acclaim each year and the community of amazing wine growers and winemakers throughout Texas is world-class.
The Kiepersol wines that received awards in November culminated in winning the Top Texas Winery award are as follows:
2022 Dulce – Silver, Class Champion, Texas Class Champion
2022 Flight – Silver, Texas Class Champion
2022 Vit – Silver
2022 Steen – Gold, Class Champion, Texas Class Champion
2020 Cabernet Reserve – Silver, Texas Class Champion
2020 Barrel No. 33 – Silver, Reserve Texas Class Champion
Co-owner Marnelle Durrett shared, “My dad always said you do things to bring glory to God and make your hometown proud. We sure hope that we’ve accomplished this for East Texas.”
Kiepersol will be receiving a full-sized horse saddle during the official presentation in late February.
