If you’ve been a long-time Texas wine lover, you’ve undoubtedly seen the growth and changes over the years at TXWineLover.com. And if you’re new to wine in Texas, you may just be seeing what’s happening on our website and mobile app. As always, we work hard to promote the more than 500 wineries spread across the Lone Star State. And now we can do so through a series of video interviews to help you get to know personalities in the industry.
In collaboration with Fbg.Live video services, we are launching the first three episodes of our new Texas Wineries Video Series. Fbg.Live is a Hill Country service providing a live video feed for local events such as high school sports, town parades, the county livestock show, and even city council meetings. These events are available through a live feed and for viewing later on the Fbg.Live YouTube channel. In addition to community events, Fbg.Live can provide services such as recording a family’s wedding or reunion. And now, Fbg.Live records videos of local wineries and winemakers.
To kick off our series, Amie interviews three female winemakers to learn the paths that brought each of them to make wine in the Fredericksburg area. Take a minute to get to know Sarah Garrett of Serrano Wine, Claire Richardson of Uplift Vineyard, and Janet Miertschin of Portree Cellars. We talk about high heels, choosing Texas over California, making wine in New Zealand, second careers, and of course, wine. Join us and learn more for yourself.

We hope this video series will help winemakers share their story and help wine lovers zero in on winemakers they would be interested in trying. If you are a winery owner interested in sharing your story, reach out to Amie at [email protected] and let’s talk.
