Fall sipping awaits! Autumn is right around the corner and cooler weather will be here before we know it. Join the Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail wineries in celebrating with the October Wine Trail Passport event. They invite you to taste from October 1 – 31, 2023 in the picturesque Texas countryside while exploring local wineries and discovering award-winning wine.
The Texas Bluebonnet Wine Trail was created to promote the thriving wine region of Southeast Texas. The wine trail’s member wineries offer award-winning wines and a variety of experiences ranging from charming tasting rooms in relaxed settings, beautiful estate vineyards, to convenient centrally located working wineries and cellars.
“Located within a short daytrip north of Houston, it made perfect sense to work with our neighbor wineries to create a wine trail that would allow guests to savor the best of what each of us brings to the area,” said Jerry Bernhardt of Bernhardt Winery. “We believe this offering sets the stage for the local community to see what the thriving Texas wine industry has to offer.”
With the purchase of the October 2023 Wine Trail Passport tickets, you can taste up to three unique wines at each participating winery over the course of each monthly event. Wine tastings at each winery consist of three 1.5 oz. pours of select or featured wines.
Ticket prices are $30 for an individual or $54 for a couple (plus tax and fees). This is a substantial SAVINGS compared to separate wine flight costs at each winery. You can start at the winery of your choice. Wine Trail Passport tickets are valid for one visit to each of the member wineries during the month-long event dates, regardless of when tickets are purchased.
Ticket holders will also receive a complimentary wine trail logo glass and souvenir gift at the first winery visited (while supplies last).
The official hours for each trail event are based on individual tasting room hours of each winery. Be sure to check each winery’s website for hours, location, and special events before planning your visit. You can use the Texas Wine Lover’s website and mobile app for the open hours too. The website Guide’s Plan Your Trip makes an easy way to plan your custom trip from your computer and then take your trip on the road with the mobile app.
