The Rootstock wine festival has always been a popular wine festival over the years. The festival first started in 2016 and Texas Wine Lover has been there along the way.
Rootstock is held in Waco which makes it a very convenient location for all the major cities in Texas to visit. It is easy to find located right off I-35 on the banks of the Brazos River in Indian Springs Park. Valley Mills Vineyards organizes the festival and does a wonderful job with the event every year. This year’s festival will be held on April 15 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
If you want the maximum enjoyment out of the wine festival, you can end the evening with a special VIP dinner immediately following the festival on the historic Waco Suspension Bridge. How cool! The dinner will feature five courses by Pignetti’s Italian Cuisine and will be paired with remarkable Texas wines to be introduced by the winemakers. Seats are limited.
