We really enjoy your site! I stopped taking that expensive magazine “Wine Spectator” years ago. I very seldom purchased any of the wines they feature. I even wrote the editors a letter axe-ing them WHY they never, EVER mentioned the word TEXAS in their magazine! (I don’t think they even believe that we do make WINE in TEXAS !) They sent me some kinda lame “American Monkey-B.S.” excuse that you would expect to get from a damn-yankee from NYC or “the Land of Fruits ‘n Nuts” (San Fran-Freako) where they have their offices…
Great report on the GRANBURY Wine show! Last time I was in Granbury at a Civil War Re-enactment, a 5’ RATTLESNAKE slithered through our camp, one of the guys pulled out his ’44 Colt pistol and blew him away! Cookie had the fire going, and the snake was in the frying pan within ten minutes. He surely tasted good!
Hi James, thanks for your comments. And now Wine Spectator came out and said it would no longer review wines from states other than California, Oregon, Washington, New York, and Virginia. We’ll keep bringing you the Texas wine news and information, and keep looking for a soon-to-be-launched project that we have been working on for a year. Cheers!
