Rosini Vineyards is located in Rockwall and is owned by Greg and Carol Rosini. They planted their first vineyard in 2019 of Blanc du Bois. While they are waiting for that vineyard to become mature, they are offering wines made from grapes from the High Plains, East Texas, and Central Texas.
Rosini Vineyards also has a large apiary with 12-14 beehives to help with the environment. The honey produced from the hives is available for sale in the tasting room.
The winery has its vineyard in the front which I imagine looks great in the summer when the vines are green. The winery had a lot of visitors enjoying their wine when I visited. The tasting room was full and there were more people outside in the back of the winery.
You can do a tasting with five wines of your choice. These are some of the wines available at the time of my tasting:
- 2019 Blanc du Bois dry and semi-sweet
- 2019 Viognier
- 2020 Lucy (Rhône white blend of Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier)
- 2019 Red Blend (Malbec, Dolcetto)
- 2019 Tempranillo
- 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon
- 2020 Aglianico
- Petite Sirah
- Merlot
- Bubbly – Rosé Bubbly, Symphony Bubbly, Peach Bubbly
As you can see, Rosini Vineyards offers a wide variety of Texas wines and also has a few wines from outside of Texas. Numerous offerings of food are available including flatbreads, paninis, salads, and more.

Greg and Carol Rosini
The winery was very busy when I was there, so Greg and Carol Rosini were extremely busy and I could not take a photo of them at the winery. But I was able to take a photo of them the next day at the 2022 Rodeo Uncorked! Roundup and Best Bites Competition in Houston show the dedication they have to Texas wine.
