The Gulf Coast Winegrowers Association (GCWA) 29th Annual Field Day, postponed in February due to COVID-19 has been rescheduled for May 7th from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Cat Spring Agricultural Society Hall, 13035 Hall Rd, Cat Spring, Texas. It features educational sessions presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. There will be sessions of benefit to both novice and commercial wine grape growers as well as exhibitors displaying and talking about many of the primary components and tools needed for successful grape growing.

The recent arctic freeze that blanketed the state of Texas crossed into uncharted territory for grapes grown along the Gulf Coast and the damage, both actual and potential (still to be determined), will be directly addressed and touched upon by many of the presenters from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services.
