Messina Hof Holds Grand Opening at New Location in Richmond, Texas

Messina Hof Winery has officially opened its fourth location at the community of Harvest Green in Richmond, Texas. Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery and Kitchen hosted multiple Grand Opening events in February 2021. The winery will be the Greater Houston area’s largest winery and the second largest location for Messina Hof.

The winery’s location features a large tasting room and 83-foot wine bar, full-service restaurant, covered patio, two private tasting rooms, plus a wine production and barrel room and wine warehouse.

“The expansion of our business with the addition of Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery and Kitchen is a continuation of our vision to innovate and grow Texas wine,” said Messina Hof Chief Executive Officer and Winemaker, Paul M. Bonarrigo. “We look forward to inviting new guests and familiar faces alike into our doors and to our tables to experience our top-notch hospitality, innovative Vineyard Cuisine and signature Texas wine.”

Harvest Green has a local neighborhood farm which is located behind the new winery, and locally harvested herbs and vegetables will be included into each dish served at the Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery and Kitchen. In the winery’s building the kitchen is in full view of the dining area and tasting bar.

To commemorate the Grand Opening, Messina Hof recently released new wines with the Texas’ first augmented reality (AR) wine labels. The three wines are available at the winery and the wine labels come to life using a special smartphone app.
