The third annual Sages Vintage Symposium will take place on June 20th, 2020. COVID-19 has caused many events to be cancelled or rescheduled, and the Sages Vintage Symposium was no exception. The event was originally scheduled to be held in May, and with Texas starting to open up again, the date was moved to June 20th.
Unlike previous years, the Sages Vintage Symposium speaking sessions will be held in downtown Nacogdoches at 108 E Hospital St. The event runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
There will be speakers presenting in every phase of wine production. These are the current speakers scheduled to present:
Tony Johnson. Speak to Inspire Consulting – Tasting Room Management (45 minutes)
Jordan Beaver. UT Tyler Fermentation Sciences – Who We Are and What We Do (20 minutes)
Michael Peters. TN Coopers – Intro to Oak and It’s Role in Quality Wine Production (20 minutes)
Eglantine Chouffour. Lamothe Abiet – Polysaccharides and Tannins (1 hour) includes tasting
Lunch/Tour/Tasting. 12:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. at Sages Vintage
