Always a fun time, Messina Hof will be hosting their 42nd Annual Harvest Festival at the Estate Winery in Bryan and at its Fredericksburg winery.
The harvest festival begins on July 26th at the Estate vineyard in Bryan and will run every weekend through the weekend of August 17th. Messina Hof’s winery and tasting room in Fredericksburg will host its Harvest Weekend on Friday August 23rd and Saturday, August 24th.
The long-time harvest festival tradition honors the bounty of the vineyard, dating back to the Bonarrigo family history of winemaking in Messina, Sicily more than seven generations back. The practice was revived at Messina Hof Winery in Bryan by a group of Texas A&M students who offered their assistance in harvesting Messina Hof’s vineyard. Today Messina Hof continues the legacy with a month-long festival.
Guests can celebrate with unique experiences including grape picking and stomping, Vineyard Cuisine Luncheons, and specialty themed dinner with unique menus. Each Daytime Harvest event kicks off with an inside look at the Texas wine industry led by CEO and Winemaker Paul M. Bonarrigo.
