The Grapevine in the Gruene Historic District has been a popular place to find one of the largest selections of Texas wines available. Complimentary tastings are even available at the bar to help you make your choice of what Texas wine to buy.
Now on the third Thursday of each month (except January) from 5-8 p.m., a featured Texas winemaker will showcase three of their newest released, top-selling, or hardest to find wines, alongside a craft brew hand-picked by The Grapevine staff.
The complimentary tastings are held on the patio and garden of the tasting room. Each event will also feature live music and three prize giveaways. This is a great opportunity to learn directly from the winery, brewery, and The Grapevine staff. It is also an excellent time to find and mingle with other Texas wine lovers. Enjoy the natural surroundings and all the other offerings of Gruene Historic District.
Comnng up on March 21st at the next Come and Taste It will feature Duchman Family Winery and Faust Brewing Company. Music will be provided by Dirty River Dixie Band.

Great spot. But I think The Grapevine should put the wines they carry in the branded racks provided, I.e. Sister Creek in the Sister Creek rack and Messina Hof in the Messina Hof rack. It’s small, I know, but they carry those wines there and the wineries paid for those racks. It would be less confusing for the casual shopper.
Hi John. It’s been a little while since I have been there, but I would agree with you if that is not happening.
