It was announced that the Wedding Oak Winery location at Wildseed Farms will be relocating to another location on U.S. 290 in Fredericksburg. The last day of operations for Wedding Oak Winery at Wildseed Farms will be December 31, 2018.
“We have had a wonderful experience entertaining guests and exciting their palates with 100 percent Texas-grown wine at our facilities at Wildseed Farms,” says Mike McHenry, managing partner, Wedding Oak Winery. “When we opened the tasting room in the Spring of 2016, we realized that having a second location in the heart of Texas’ wine tourism on the Wine Road 290 in Fredericksburg fit our goal of helping people discover our wines. We’ve been thrilled with the reception we’ve received. While we are departing Wildseed Farms, we are dedicated to opening another excellent wine destination in Fredericksburg.”
Wedding Oak Winery’s primary winemaking operations will remain in San Saba, Texas. To help make it easy for people to find and purchase its wines, the additional tasting room was opened at Wildseed Farms. Spring 2019 will have a new 8,500 square foot hospitality complex opening in Burnet, Texas.
The new Fredericksburg tasting room on U.S. Route 290 will also open in Spring 2019 once permits are in place.
