Yay! Fall is here and that means hopefully it is cooler in Texas, but it definitely means there are more wine festivals. Here are some October Texas wine festivals you should attend. Be sure to check the fall wine festivals list too for all the fall wine festivals.

Gruene Music & Wine Festival

First up is the Gruene Music & Wine Festival in New Braunfels from October 4-7. Four days of festival brings you the best of a wine festival and music. There will be Texas wineries and breweries present. Their website has more information and how to get tickets.

Autumn Art & Texas Wine Festival

The Autumn Art & Texas Wine Festival will be held in Old Town Spring from October 6-7. I have to bring this festival up because Jeff will be volunteering to pour wine there. Come by and say hi! Besides art, of course there will be Texas wine with a great selection of local wineries. See their website for more information about tickets.

Monterey Square Wine and Arts Fair

The 10th annual wine fair in Wharton takes place on October 13 around the historic downtown courthouse square. Besides great Texas wine, there will also be live music. The website has more information and how to get tickets.

Kiepersol Vine Day

A lot of wineries have wine festivals and Kiepersol in East Texas is no exception. Their Vine Day is Saturday, October 20th, at the winery and distillery. There will be live music, vendors, food trucks, and more. Please see their website for more information.

Fredericksburg Food & Wine Fest

The 2nd most popular wine destination in the country has a festival on October 27 in downtown Fredericksburg. The festival will have Texas food, wine, beer, music, specialty booths, and a food court for your total enjoyment. Over 20 wineries are scheduled to be pouring their wines at the festival making this a perfect weekend to take your trip to the Hill Country. The festival’s website has more information and how to purchase tickets.
