Texas Hill Country Wineries adds another Member and Loses One

It was just January when there were two new wineries added to the Texas Hill Country Wineries: Narrow Path Winery & Vineyards and Saint Tryphon Farm & Vineyards.

Now Texas Hill Country Wineries has added back its 52nd member: Grape Creek Vineyards on Main. This makes another successful tasting room for the winery located on U.S. 290. The other tasting room is located in Georgetown, Texas.

The tasting room will be listed as an affiliate member, which means they receive all the same benefits as a full winery member, but just do not have a second vote at the membership meetings.

One winery has dropped it Texas Hill Country Wineries membership: Compass Rose Cellars. According to the Compass Rose website, “We are closed to the general public. Wine club members only. Please click on the link above to join the Journey and be a member of our Family.”

Main Street in Fredericksburg is becoming a true winery destination as tasting rooms are joining existing wineries already on Main Street. There are now at least nine wineries or tasting rooms right on Main Street:
