With Texas Wine Month in full effect, there are a multitude of events you might want to attend throughout the month of October. From the Texas Hill Country Wineries’ “Texas Wine Month Passport,” to the lovely wines being poured at the famous Texas State Fair in Dallas. There will something delicious for every thirsty enophile out there.
There is one evening in particular that may very well pop up on your Texas Wine Loving radar. III Forks in Austin is hosting a Texas wine tasting called “Red, White & Rose,” presented by Wine Director Dave Lund which will feature 40+ Texas wines poured by their winemakers and crew. The tasting event will be accompanied by gourmet appetizers and raffle prizes. How cool is that?!
Anyone who has been to III Forks is probably very aware of the elevated culinary experience there. The food experience and ambience are first class, and the talented restaurant team is ready to knock your socks off in an all out show of top end Texas wines, and brilliantly tasty bites to accompany them. When you pair stunning bites with quality Texas wine, you are in for a real treat. This evening should prove to be a stellar experience.
I will be there providing media coverage for the event, so if you cannot make it, I’ll be sure and post some tantalizing photos after the fact for you to enjoy. But if you can make it out, please join me and many others as we taste through a solid portfolio of Texas wines and phenomenal food. Here are the details.
