It is starting to get hot outside, so the wine festival list starts getting smaller, but there are still some wine festivals in Texas that you need to visit. Here are just a few of the June wine festivals. For a list of all the June wine festivals, see the 2017 Spring and Summer Wine Festivals list.
Wine & Food Week
The 13th Wine & Food Week annual event in The Woodlands is always a popular event. The five day event starts on June 5 and gives plenty of opportunities to taste many wines, Texas and non-Texas wines, and wonderful food. There is too much to talk about in this little preview, so feel free to read our previous post and then check out their website at http://www.wineandfoodweek.com.
Taste of Dallas
If you’re not in Dallas from June 10-11, you need to be for the Taste of Dallas. Food and wine will prevail at the two day event, not to mention craft beer, spirits, and of course live music. This year will feature the new Live Fire Experience where you will get to enjoy the best barbecue and burger locations plus over 20 craft breweries. Their website has more information at http://www.tasteofdallas.org.
Sip & Swirl Levelland
If you enjoy shopping and drinking wine, you can’t go wrong at the Sip & Swirl Levelland on June 22. Enjoy an evening of downtown shopping while sampling Texas’ top wines and dining on local sweet and savory bites. More information can be found on their Facebook page.
Downtown Tyler Wine Swirl
If you are not near Levelland, then you can still do plenty of wine tasting in local businesses at the Downtown Tyler Wine Swirl on June 24. This is always a great event with a great selection of Texas wine. Food and wine samples will be provided at the different locations during the swirl. The website has more information.
