They say April showers bring May flowers, but April in Texas definitely brings wine festivals! April has the most wine festivals of any month in spring and summer. We cannot list them all which are in the complete list, so here are just some festivals in April for you to visit!
Texas Wine and Art Festival
The festival takes place in Old Town Spring from April 1-2 and features Texas wineries, arts and crafts, and gourmet foods and sauces. Tickets are available from their website.
Texas Wine Revolution
The second year festival showcases only rosé wines and this year promises to offer even more on Sunday, April 2. Check their website to buy tickets now and locate the new location in Stonewall.
Savor Dallas
The Dallas wine festival is from April 6-9. Different events will be held from ‘Cue It Up to the big Grand Tasting. Tickets can be found on the website.
Rootstock: A Texas Wine Festival
This second year festival on April 22 offers 18 of the top Texas wineries presenting Texas wines. The festival is in Waco. Hear one of the founders Joey Bagnasco talk about the festival in our latest podcast. Get your tickets on their website.
Granbury Wine Walk
The Granbury Wine Walk is back from April 27-29. Stroll downtown Granbury with your wine while you enjoy the wine walk. Tickets for the very popular wine festival are on their website.
Lubbock Uncorked
The second Lubbock Uncorked event takes place on April 28. Wineries from around the state will be in Lubbock showcasing their wines during the evening. Visit their website on how you can obtain tickets.
We were supposed to go to Spring today – weather is horrible!! Torrential rains and possible tornadoes.

Sorry the weather was bad for Old Town Spring. We went to Texas Wine Revolution and it poured during the morning but thankfully was nice in the afternoon except for the mud. Have fun in Dallas!
