2017 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Results – Texas Wineries

The 2017 San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo Wine Competition was held from October 17-18, 2016.  There was a record of 60 Texas wineries who entered. A total of 1060 wines were judged and 43 Texas wineries were awarded 121 medals.

Messina Hof Winery & Resort was named the Best of Herd Texas Winery.

Wineries receiving Champion, Reserve Champion, Best of Herd, Top All-Around, Best Value (Red and White), Double Gold and Gold medals will be celebrated and auctioned at the 8th Annual Champion Wine Auction to be held January 19, 2017 at the Mays Family Center at the Witte Museum in San Antonio, Texas.

The Double Gold and Gold medal award winning wines will be displayed and sold in the Champion Wine Garden on the rodeo grounds during the 68th Annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo to be held February 9-26, 2017.
