2016 TEXSOM International Wine Awards – Texas Results

The 2016 TEXSOM International Wine Awards had almost 3,200 entries representing 25 countries and 25 U.S. states. There were 67 international judges from 10 countries and they awarded 2,133 medals.

The Awards of Excellence category is new for 2016. Wines selected for Awards of Excellence were nominated by judging panels for specific categories, then blind tasted by the Awards of Excellence judging panels to determine the winner of each Award. Awards of Excellence winners show quality and unique character that are exceptional even amongst their medal-winning peers.
