The 2016 Granbury Wine Walk will be held on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30, with a special VIP event Thursday evening, April 28. Always a popular wine festival, the seventh annual festival should prove to be a winner too. The wine festival will be held in downtown Granbury and over 20 Texas wineries are scheduled to be pouring their wines around the Historic Granbury Square intermixed with food, music, art, and shopping opportunities.
The Granbury Wine Walk is a non-profit event benefiting local charities. The fun starts with the “Sip & Savor” VIP event on Thursday evening, April 28. Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres from North Texas’ favorite celebrity chefs paired with carefully selected wines from wineries at the Wine Walk. A VIP reservation includes a ticket to the Wine Walk on Friday and Saturday.
The Wine Walk starts on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and continues on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Wine Walk ticket includes 15 tastings, wristband, map, and souvenir wine glass. Two day tickets are $25 until April 15 and $30 after April 15.
