Texas Hill Country Wineries (THCW) will hold another Grower Field Day on November 3rd, this time at Perissos Vineyard and Winery. The event will run from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Topics discussed during the day include items such as:
- Compost Demo
- Compost 101
- Compost Tea Demo
- Dealing with Alkaline Soils
- Vineyard Design & Layout: Trellis Experimentation
- Mycorrhiza Relationships
- Quantity vs. Quality: Why do older vines make better wine?
- Vertical Tasting
The day will end with a wine sharing reception so bring your favorite bottle of wine to share.
Tickets are $60 for non-THCW members and $40 for THCW members and can be purchased on the THCW website. Limited seating is available and you must register by October 26th. The ticket price includes lunch.
