Wine Road 290 wine trail, invite you to participate our SEVENTH annual Kiolbassa & Kab event on Saturday, September 12, 2015 – one of our most popular events! Each winery will team with a top restaurant in the Texas Hill Country to present Kiolbassa Sausage tasting prepared in a unique style, and oh yeah, paired with a fine Cabernet Sauvignon wine (Kab). Kiolbassa Provision Company, in San Antonio, has worked with the Texas Hill Country wineries for the last six years and the event has proven to be great to show the versatility of both Kiolbassa and of wine. Kiolbassa is perfect for the “tail-gater” in every since of the word!
Each restaurant will prepare a version of Kiolbassa Sausage (Chorizo, Cheddar, Beef, Jalapeno Beef, Jalapeno Cheddar, Mesquite, or Polish – all smoked) and serve to you with a wine from the winery, but of course you will have the opportunity to taste other of the fine wines from the winery during your visit. Each of the wineries will team with a top restaurant in the Texas Hill Country to present Kiolbassa & Kab. No ticket to buy, just drive to each of the wineries and get your tasting of Kiolbassa Sausage paired with a sample of that winery’s fine Kab (wine).
Visit www.wineroad290.com for map. Just 45 miles between the west-most winery (Chisholm Trail Winery) and the east-most winery (Texas Hills Vineyard). The other eleven wineries are in-between.
- No TICKET required! Most wineries have a small “tasting fee”; there is no additional fee for the EVENT.
