The days are getting warmer and as daylight gets longer, lucky for us, so does the list of wine festivals! Here are some of them for the month of April:
Sugar Land Wine and Food Affair
The five days of festivities will take place on April 8-12 in Sugar Land; the festival promises to have something for everybody. Visit the website for additional information and ticket prices.
Wine Fair Cy-Fair
Wine Fair Cy-Fair will take place on April 10th and 11th. There are multiple choices for tickets, so visit the website to view the choices and more details about the festival.
Blessing of the Vines & New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail
The 23rd Annual Blessing of the Vines & New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail will take place on April 11th in Grapevine. Admission to the Blessing of the Vines is free. Tickets to the New Vintage Wine and Gallery Trail are $55 and include a souvenir wine glass, live entertainment, and three tastings of wine and one food item at each participating winery tasting room. Granbury Wine Walk
The sixth annual Granbury Wine Walk will take place April 24-25. As many as twenty Texas wineries will participate in the event. Two-day tickets are $25 online (online sales close the Wednesday before event) and $30 at the event. Admission is free for attendees under 21 and those who do not wish to drink.
Austin Food + Wine Festival
One of the biggest food and wine festivals in the state takes place in Austin from April 24-26 at the Austin Food + Wine Festival. Top chef talent, sommeliers, and winemakers will be present to create a wonderful experience. This is the fourth year of the Austin Food + Wine Festival and it promises to be even bigger. Wine and Roses Festival
The 31st Wine and Roses Festival will take place on April 25 at Messina Hof Winery & Resort in Bryan. Admission to the festival is free. Tickets to participate in festival activities will be available for purchase at the ticket tent or they can be pre-ordered.
