“Vino & Pasta” is an event that will be taking place on Saturday, March 21st. All 15 wineries making up the Fredericksburg Wine Road 290 will be participating to help you find the perfect pairing of wine (vino) and pasta.
Each winery will work with a top restaurant to create the perfect pairing with their wine. There is no ticket to buy so just drive to each of the wineries and get a sample of pasta paired with one of that winery’s fine wine. Most wineries have a tasting fee that is normally charged but there is no additional fee for the event.
There are only 45 miles between the western-most winery Chisholm Trail Winery and the eastern-most winery Texas Hills Vineyard, with the other wineries between. See www.wineroad290.com for a map to the following wineries: Becker Vineyards, Chisholm Trail Winery, Fiesta Winery 290, Fredericksburg Winery, Grape Creek Vineyards, Hilmy Cellars, Hye Meadow Winery, Lost Draw Cellars, Pedernales Cellars, Rancho Ponte Vineyard, Texas Hills Vineyard, Torre di Pietra Vineyards, William Chris Vineyards, Woodrose Winery, and 4.0 Cellars.
