Beaujolais et Tapis Rouge in Houston

Houston’s French-American Chamber of Commerce will kick off the holiday season with a celebration featuring wonderful French wine, gourmet food, and festive entertainment with a distinctively French flair. The “Beaujolais et Tapis Rouge” soiree is rolling out the red carpet on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel to welcome guests to a fun night of French culture.

Houston’s Food and Wine lovers will toast the Beaujolais Nouveau release while indulging in an exclusive dining experience. The area’s best chefs will serve up delicious bites from all over the city, celebrating the diversity of Houston’s culinary scene.

Guests will taste the creations of renowned chefs paired with excellent wines. 15 specially selected restaurants, cafes, and bakeries will present their little chef d’oeuvres. Among the most inspired chefs and loyal participants is Jacques Fox from Artisans restaurant.

“This national French event is fantastic to see in Houston. It’s like dancing in the streets of Paris the 14th of July! It will be the perfect evening,” says Jacques Fox.

This year, the FACC celebrates its 31st soiree, with business people from Fortune 500 companies, wine lovers, French culture enthusiasts, and members of the French-American business community. The event’s red carpet theme will bring out the best in French culture and Houston’s social scene. Our special guest “Ô de mon Chéri” arriving from Europe for the evening will create a magic and fun ambience and will serve as our Mistress of Ceremonies.
