The Wine & Food Foundation of Texas (WFFT) will host the 12th Annual Tour de Vin, a room-to-room tasting tour of dozens of domestic and international fine wines, paired with delicious fare prepared onsite by chefs of some of Austin’s favorite restaurants. One of WFFT’s premier annual events, Tour de Vin starts at 6 p.m. on Thursday, September 18 at W Austin, 200 Lavaca Street in downtown Austin.
Proceeds of $20 from each ticket sold will benefit Austin Food for Life,Sustainable Food Center (SFC), Texas A&M AgriLife Viticulture & Fruit Lab, and Texas Sommelier Association (TEXSOM).
Tour de Vin will treat approximately 500 guests to a selection of wines from the world’s most prolific wine-producing regions of France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Australia, and others, which encompass a wide range of styles and terroir. Guest’s stemware will be filled from bottles produced by Achaval Ferrer, Amichi Cellars, August Wine Group, Chateau Ste Michelle, Duckhorn Wine Company, Kobrand, Makin Wines, Merryvale Winery, Palm Bay International, Robert Mondavi, Trinchero Family Estates, Vintus Wines, and Wilson Daniels.
Ticket-holders will enjoy delicious bites from established local favorites and new hot spots including Blackbird & Henry, Bess Bistro, The Bonneville, Cafe Josie, Chi’lantro, Fixe, Gusto Italian Kitchen, Little Barrel & Brown, Max’s Wine Dive, The Scarlet Rabbit, Searsucker, Skull & Cakebones, TRACE, The Turtle Restaurant, and Walton’s Fancy Staple. Guests will soak in the beautiful Austin skyline from the outdoor patio and lounge in the cozy indoor seating areas. Ticket-holders may participate in a charitable raffle featuring wines, foodie favorites and unique prizes. DJ Horizontal K will entertain throughout the evening with an eclectic mix of vintage vinyl.

Tickets are now on sale for $100 for the general public and $80 for members. Members only VIP tickets can be purchased for $120, providing access to the Tour de Vin VIP lounge anytime during the event with lush seating, bites from TRACE and exclusive wines from August Wine Group, Makin Wines and Wilson Daniels. In addition, special pricing is available with the purchase of a ticket package for both Tour de Vin and Big Reds & Bubbles.
