The Texas Hill Country Wineries has added two membership levels: Grower Members and Associate Members. Growers are any planted vineyard in the state of 2+ acres. Notice this is not just in the Hill Country but anywhere in the state of Texas.
Associate Members are any supporting Texas wine business such as glass, capsules, labels, equipment, etc.
The goal of Texas Hill Country Wineries is to get their members to be able to get connected with growers statewide and for the growers to know their wineries.
If you are interested in becoming a Grower Member, the application can be found on their website at: https://texashillcountrywineries.org/images/uploads/misc/THCW_GrowerMembers.pdf

THCW is a non-profit marketing association for the current 42 member wineries. The member wineries vote on items including trail events, marketing plans to increase visitors to tasting rooms, etc. While Grower Members would not vote on these items, we DO want your input, advice and support on the Growers Committee. The committee formed last fall has been responsible for the Grower Field Days, fundraising events for Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Viticulture & Fruit Lab ($48K), Grower Tailgates and planning of future educational events. We want a working relationship with our growers, statewide.
Thank you and please let me know if you have any further questions.
