The early part of May is going to be a great time in the High Plains. If you are attending Newsom Grape Day and the Tempranillo Conference on May 9th in Plains, TX, the next day you can enjoy the 2nd Annual Wine and Music Fest on May 10th in Levelland, TX sponsored by the High Plains Winegrowers.
The festival kicks off with a BBQ cook-off starting Friday, May 9th, and ending Saturday afternoon. The cooks will prepare a variety of meats vying for cash prizes.
The Wine and Shopping Expo will be host to farm related businesses as well as Ladies Fashions, Home and Office Furnishings, Farm and Ranch Buildings, and more. Support local businesses and enjoy a day of Retail Therapy.
The day will finish with the following Texas Country Musicians taking the stage:

- Bri Bagwell
- Ray Wylie Hubbard
