The Texas Wine Lover blog has long contained the most accurate list of Texas wineries which are open or soon to be opened. Today is the unveiling of an interactive Texas wineries map which has long been in the planning and development stages. The map is just the start of what it will eventually be, but is being unveiled in time for October being Texas wine month.
Currently the currently open Texas wineries map contains all currently open Texas wineries making wine. There are lists of wineries elsewhere but some have unfortunately closed, some have not yet opened, and others do not make wine. Effort was made to ensure the actual location of the winery which was made easier because we have been to most of them. If we have visited the winery and have a post on our visit, a link will be provided to the blog post.
The map can be found under the Wineries menu and is appropriately called Texas Wineries Map. For your ease right now, you can get to it by clicking here.
We have further plans to enhance the map and we look forward to bringing you the best information on Texas wineries.

Julia, no app needed which always requires updating and hoping the app store gets it put up in time when you need it. I tested it on my iPhone’s browsers and the map portion works fine so you’ll always have it available.
