This is for all you budding winemakers who live near Bellville, Texas and the Austin County Fair. The Austin County Grape Growers Committee is coordinating a Non-Commercial Wine Fair on the Austin County Fairgrounds on Saturday, October 12, 2013.
Any amateur or non-commercial winemaker is eligible to submit entries in the show. Wine batches that are eligible to enter can be made in 2013 or earlier years. There is no entry fee and the number of samples is unlimited, however, entrants must pay an admission fee to enter the fairgrounds.
All wine entered must be a minimum of two bottles, no more than one liter in size or equivalent US measure (1 quart) and no less than 70 ml (1 1/2 pints). Entries must be dropped off at the Austin County Fair Office or the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Office in Bellville by Friday, October 4, 2013.
Judging will start promptly at 3:30 pm and when complete, both entrants and the public will be invited to a tasting and awards ceremony.

- Red Wine – Dry
- Red Wine – Sweet
- White Wine – Dry
- White Wine – Sweet
- Fruit/Berry
- Dessert/Port Style
- Kit Wine/Non TX Grapes – Dry
- Kit Wine/Non TX Grapes – Sweet
- Native/Mustang Grape
- Blush
