Wine Fair Cy-Fair (http://www.winecyfair.com) was held on April 5-6 and we attended the Saturday’s Wine Fair. The 2012 festival was sold out and they were expecting as many as 2,000 guests this year. There were wine tasting stations, craft beer tastings, and culinary tastings, along with live music playing on the main stage. As you can see there was something for everyone!
One advantage of the festival was there one price for admission and then you could do tastings at any booth without having to worry about tickets. There was a great selection of wine, beer, and food for tastings. Two Texas wineries were present: Llano Estacado Winery and Messina Hof Winery & Resort.
We had a great time at the festival and from the looks of the smiling faces, everybody else was having a great time too. Mark the wine festival on your calendar for next year and plan to attend!
