Spring is in the air! Or at least it is supposed to be with the exception of some recent frosts in Texas. But for the April #TXwine Twitter Tuesday on April 9 from 7-8 p.m. CST, we will celebrate spring wines.
We have selected three wines that are light and refreshing, perfect for sipping on the porch or pairing with your favorite cheeses and springtime favorites:
- McPherson Cellars Roussanne (@McPhersonCellar)
- Duchman Family Winery Dolcetto (@DuchmanWinery)
- Becker Vineyards Claret (@BeckerVineyards)
The Twitter Tuesday date is coming up fast so please find these wines in your local retail stores and be ready to tweet on April 9.
We are also proud to announce another regular host for Twitter Tuesday: Jessica Dupuy (@JDewps). Jessica covers Texas wine for @TexasMonthly magazine and we know she will bring great ideas every month and it will be refreshing (like a spring wine) to have her on board.
There will be three of us hosting this #TXwine Twitter Tuesday, but we’re counting on you to share your thoughts on these wines. We hope you will gather your fellow Twitter friends and Texas wine enthusiasts on Tuesday, April 9 from 7-8 p.m. CST for a night of tasting and tweeting.
Cheers!
Denise, Jeff, and Jessica

P.S. The shipping of the special #TXwine Twitter Tuesday wine package we did in March was very well received. We are organizing this for future tastings which will allow all of us to taste a much wider range of Texas wines than what we can currently find on retail shelves. Stay tuned for further details!
