TXwine Twitter Tuesday: Texas Wines for Your Sweetie

Austin’s Denise Clarke (@DeniseClarkeTX) and I (@TXWineLover) invite you to join the next #TXwine Twitter Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST on February 12.  This month we will celebrate the Valentine’s Day with three wines perfect for sharing with your sweetie.  These are great after-dinner dessert wines to pair with cheeses or chocolate, or to enjoy outside on the porch as the sun sets.

The tasting list for the evening will include:

• Becker 2012 Riesling
• Flat Creek Moscato D’Arancia 2009
• Messina Hof Paulo Port 2004, Messina Hof Papa Paulo Port Private Reserve Double Barrel 2007, or Llano Cellar Select Texas Port

If you are unable to find any of the above Texas wines, please pick up any dessert wine you like to join us for a night of tasting and lots of fun! The wines should be available at local Spec’s Fine Wines and Spirits stores around the state, HEB’s, etc. Check stores near you.
