Texas wine friends – we are trying something new for the March #TXWine Twitter Tuesday on March 12 from 7-8 p.m. CST. The March issue of Imbibe magazine is devoted to Texas wine, food and spirits and our own Jessica Dupuy (@JDewps) has written an article about Texas wine. This is great exposure for the Texas wine industry in a national magazine!
To celebrate, we have asked Jessica to lead the March Twitter Tasting and we are featuring three of Jessica’s favorite Texas wines:
- Duchman Family Winery Aglianico
- McPherson Dry Chenin (which Jessica helped make) in lieu of the McPherson Les Copains, featured in the article but which is sold out
- Pedernales Texas Tempranillo
These are wines only available from the wineries so we have worked out a #TXWine Twitter Tuesday special offer to have the wines packaged and shipped to you. The wineries are graciously offering all three wines for $36 plus shipping. Go to www.pedernalescellars.com and click on Buy and then Online Store and look for the special TXWine Twitter Tuesday 3 Bottle Set.
We hope you will gather your fellow Twitter friends and Texas wine enthusiasts on Tuesday, March 12 from 7-8 p.m. CST for a night of tasting and tweeting. We also hope to include some “Other 47” wine bloggers around the country in this Twitter Tasting.
This special TXWine Twitter Tuesday 3 Bottle Set offer is available until Friday, March 8. Place your order by then and you should receive the wines in time for the March 12 Twitter Tasting. Spread the word – this will be fun!
Cheers!
