Update: March 4, 2022. The Texas Wine Traveller is no longer active. But Texas Wine Lover is working on a mobile app that should be available by summer 2022!
A new application called Texas Wine Traveller has recently been released for the iPhone and soon to be for the Android! Texas Wine Traveller lists Texas wineries along with information about them including contact information, addresses, and even precise GPS map locations. You can view the Texas winery information by region or even wine trail.
Jim and Julie Baker, the developers of the program, intend on making the application THE app to find Texas wineries. They have some great plans for the app and plan on keeping it up to date with reliable data, unlike other apps or websites.
You can get it on iTunes now for only $.99 free!
Great App! Can’t wait to see it in the Android market so I can download it….
May have a friend d/l the Apple one….
Android app REAL SOON, please!!!!
I know the developers are working on the Android version.
Hi Jeff;
Are the Bakers still working on the app? I have it on my iPad but noticed the wineries listed are out of date, as I know Alamosa Cellars was closed & put up for sale, and the owner of Calais winery in Dallas moved to the Hill Country which caused the Dallas Wine Trail to dissolve…
Hi Ann. No, the Bakers are no longer working on the app. But Texas Wine Lover is working on a mobile app that should be available by summer 2022!
