The Rancher’s Daughter

Rancher's Daughter - outside

The Rancher’s Daughter store and wine bar is located in Montgomery and is owned by Harry and Rendy Kerr. They opened the store/wine bar in 2009. In the times we have been visiting The Rancher’s Daughter, they have moved from one location across the street to a new and bigger location.

The wine bar has a very large store of various home décor and accessories in addition to over 50 wines from the Texas wineries they offer. In addition to the other wines, they also offer their own Merlot, Chardonnay, Rancher’s Red, Cowgirl Blush, and Pearl wines which are made at Salado Creek Winery & Vineyard.

Tastings are held for some of the wines they offer for sale in addition to their own wine. The last time we visited The Rancher’s Daughter on a Saturday, Houston winery Dionisio Winery was present giving a tasting.

For tastings of the Rancher’s Daughter’s wines, there is a tasting fee for a plastic shot glass of the tasting. You can pay a little bit more for a glass. Tastings are done while sitting at the tasting bar.

Food can also be ordered from across the street at the Cozy Grape Wine Bar & Bistro.

Terry, you would need to ask them at the link at the top of the page to their website. I know I saw Red 55’s wines at some store recently.
